AN INTRO

SOCIAL PSYCH - AN INTRODUCTION

Extraordinary, mind-fooling Lego art.

Social Psychology is a mind-blowing subject that overwhelmed our usual thinking capacity. Once a week for two and a half hours, we were guided through several concepts according to chapters such as 'The Self: Who Am I and How do Others See Me' and 'The Power of Persuasion'. Our lecturer, Mr Shankar was the perfect example of a psychological player: he also worked as one.

Every week, he would deliver a lecture that delved deep into each psychology concept thoroughly. Also, he would always involve the class with opinion-sharing sessions and verbal, subjective questions. Being quick and witty in personality. Mr Shankar usually enraptures most of our attention with his profound sense of vocabulary and thought.

Truly thought-provoking, I think our class had a good time each week wading through this mind-boggling study, a subject fresh to us from Semester 1. Reading lecture slides for the two small tests also improved our writing and application skills, though the group assignments were the most fun to actually understand the concepts and bond with our team mates.

It was a my first and definitely a memorable Psychology term!
