AN INTRO

SOCIAL PSYCH - P.1 > COMIC STRIP

Comic font!

Interesting. From writing individual posts, we upgraded to artistic interpretations of more social psychology concepts in a group. Excited anticipations were not disappointed. Working in a team to create a comic strip and a presentation to further explain it sounded pretty cool. To do:

Even with the absence of a brief, the tasks we had to deliver was simple - an A3-sized comic storyboard consisting five concepts (each from separate chapters) that linked to each other through a common theme or storyline, plus a slideshow displaying excerpts and justification (orally) by the end of it. In my group, we had thankfully rather excellent job skillsets: Shiko was a genius with an Artline, Yu Jing was brilliant at creating simple slides and less simple but effective presentations, while Dinh helped out in any way needed. While I coordinated and worked on editing the slides with Yu Jing, we also worked out the flow of the presentation to ensure it was smooth.

Through a few discussions to create a original yet interesting storyboard that was wide yet specific enough to encompass psychology concepts effectively, we had a merry time every meeting. A photo of our beautiful, hand-drawn comic. Visuals and handiwork by Shiko, storyline and content by the rest of us.

Presentation slides, created and edited by Yu Jing and I.

The oral presentation went fairly well and gained Mr Shankar's nods. As a whole, this assignment made me further understand the concepts we worked on as a team and the proper way to apply it in a visual graphic strip. Thanks to my joyful and ambitious team!
